How to Edit the Hosts File on Windows
Press ⊞ Win + R (Windows Key + R) to open the "Run" window.
Type in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc in the text box and press Enter.
Find the file named hosts.
Right-click on the hosts file and select Edit with Notepad or any text editor.
Add the following IP address at the end of the file:

How to Edit the Hosts File on a MacBook
Follow these steps to modify the hosts file on macOS:
Open Finder:
In Finder’s menu bar, select Go → Go to Folder.
Navigate to the Hosts File:
In the search box that appears, type the following location and press Return:
/private/etc/hosts
Move the Hosts File to Your Desktop:
A new Finder window will open with your Mac’s hosts file selected.
Drag the file to your desktop to allow editing.
